I am so excited to prepare the baby’s nursery.  The walls are painted the beautiful color of a new baby yellow chick.  My husband and I are in the process of purchasing a darling set of custom crib bedding.  My grandmother has offered to sew curtains and also to buy a lovely maple changing table and matching crib.  I can’t believe how generous she is!  

Our baby girl bedding and room is going to look so cute.  I am considering painting a fairy tale mural on one wall.  I can’t get over how much fun the planning and decorating stage is.  This makes up for the first three months of feeling sick with nausea.  It’s like Dr. Oz says, everything in life balances out.

Names are difficult to agree upon.  It seems everyone my husband names reminds me of someone I knew from the past and everyone I name reminds him of someone from the past.  I don’t want to name our baby a common place or forgettable name, but I also don’t want to name her a crazy and off the wall nonsensical name.  Where is the balance?  I guess that is why we have forty weeks for all the preparations needed before becoming a parent.
