Celebrity Halloween Costumes

I was searching for something completely different tonight, and ran across this article in The Huffington Post with pictures of celebrity Halloween costumes. I don’t know why I was surprised — I guess it never occurred to me that celebrities might do something as normal as dressing up for Halloween.
Anyway, I guess simply dressing up for Halloween doesn’t make celebrities normal, because there are few of what you might consider the “normal” costumes in these pictures. There is one picture of some celebrities in Star Wars costumes, including a Darth Vadar costume, but there are also many original costumes. One person is dressing up as an Abraham Lincoln penny, for goodness’ sake!
It’s funny to me to see celebrities dressed up as historical people such as FDR and Lincoln, because hey, “normal” people dress up as celebrities (or celebrities’ characters in movies) all the time, right? Hey, even this pumpkin is dressed up as someone famous: Barack Obama!
It’s a pretty good likeness, I thought. I wonder if the person carved it him or herself, or used a template that they got online or in one of those pumpkin carving kits?
In any case, I just ran across this and thought I might share it. I confess to getting easily distracted when I am working — especially when I am searching for information on the Internet. I always end up browsing for someone for myself!
Back to work now!
