Florida is a wonderful place to spend your honeymoon — if you choose the right accommodations. Where you stay and what you do on your honeymoon can significantly alter your experience if you’re not careful.
One way to ensure your honeymoon is romantic and memorable is to spend it at a Florida villa, also known as a vacation rental. Basically you stay at a house that has been furnished and outfitted for vacationers, and have all the privacy of home combined with all the romance and excitement of staying somewhere else on your honeymoon.
Villas in Florida are often rented out by a company that specializes in managing Florida vacation rentals. Their website should list all of the Florida villas they offer, the dates they are available, and details about the properties such as the amenities each one offers. For instance, if your idea of the perfect honeymoon is a villa down on the beach, a website with a sophisticated search feature should allow you to search for this.
If you think about it, staying in a hotel on your honeymoon is so commonplace compared to the privacy and luxury of renting a villa for the occasion. If you really want a memorable and romantic Florida honeymoon, choose a villa!

So I decided to bypass the shiny neon lights and high-rise buildings for a comfy, cozy New England Inn for this year’s anniversary. I had to really think about the location of the bed and breakfast before I made my final location decision.
I wasn’t sure what kind of place my husband would want. Does he want to be a part of the exciting night life or would he want to be as secluded from civilization as possible? This is an important decision to make because the location of an inn could make or break our anniversary!
So, with that in mind, I figured he would like to be where all the action is, so perhaps he would enjoy a Massachusetts bed and breakfast in the busy city of Boston. However, I want to enjoy a peaceful, relaxing getaway, so I may enjoy a secluded New Hampshire bed and breakfast much better. Decisions, decisions.
One of the many great things about New England is that this area has so much to offer a couple like us. We are hikers, bikers, and nature enthusiasts, so we might stay at an inn where trails are nearby. I think I’ve found a place that will give us all of that in Boston, so that’s where I booked this anniversary trip, but now I know where I want to go for my birthday: New Hampshire!

With Canada tours, you never know exactly what you are going to get. I remember on my first one I got one of the Banff vacation package and travelled, by foot, through a lot of the green areas of that part of the country. There was a lot to see – certainly more than I assumed when I decided to go on this trip – and it was these that made me want to go back.
Going Back
My second trip was as exciting as the first. I took one of the Canada ski vacations and set off towards the top of the mountain, fully equipped in all of the latest gear (that I had rented for a mildly hefty sum, but no matter) and slid down the hill for the rest of the day. And it actually took the rest of the day, because I was a terrible skier and constantly was falling on my behind as I went. But oh well, at least I had a good time, I got to drink a lot of hot chocolate, and I learned that the next time I come to the Rockies I am probably going to try out snowboarding instead. Much better idea.
