I run a homeschool for a number of families in a rural area. It’s a farming region and there isn’t much shopping nearby. The closest place to get classroom supplies is a couple of hours away by car, so it’s not a trip I can make very often.  There isn’t too much of a selection there anyway, and the prices are pretty high.  People who live here order a lot of things online these days.  For us, online shopping has been a real boon.  It’s so much more convenient than driving miles and miles to get what we need and the selection is so much better, along with the prices. 

I teach about 20 kids of different ages, so most of the school supplies I order can be used by the whole group (and even their parents), like pencils, paper, and arts and crafts supplies.  The parents and I agreed it didn’t make any sense for me to give them a school supply list and buy the stuff separately; I buy everything and they divide the cost among themselves.  Of course it makes sense to look for discounts, and it’s been pretty easy.  The products have been great. The kids are happy, their parents are happy, and so am I!

I have an online college degree. Like many people, this degree came from an accredited university with a physical campus. It was simply obtained through completing the online courses which the university made available to accommodate students with less-than-traditional situations at home. I had one of those situations and the online degree program accommodated me perfectly.

The story behind my degree was that I had delayed college until later in life. I was already a foster parent to children with special needs when I realized that I needed an education to go further with my own goals. Although I loved fostering kids, I wanted to move past that stage of my life and into a completely different type of job. To do that, I needed to do two things: get an education and finish fostering the kids in my home until they could find adoptive placement.

In order to do both of these things at the same time, I needed to find a school program which would allow me to complete a degree on my own schedule. Kids have needs that aren’t convenient. Special needs kids inside of the foster care system have even more needs which are even less convenient. I wasn’t about to place my own goals ahead of those needs but I didn’t want to sacrifice my dreams because of them either.

I managed to complete two online degrees while meeting the needs of those kids and my own needs as well. They moved on to permanent adoptive homes. I moved on to the next stage of my life. I’m not sure that I could have done that nearly as easily if I’d had to attend classes on campus each day.

There are many unique golf schools available today.  Some are located locally and provide training for management careers and other such careers.  Anyone that would like to enter into a career in this field has the opportunity.  Skills on the golf course are not always necessary when it comes to such an opportunity.  Instead, consider your skills in management or sales, for example.

If you do want to be a golf pro, you most definitely can find an opportunity.  With the right skill you will be able to take your lifestyle to the next level.  There are many great golf schools that actually allow you to improve those skills, giving you more ability to secure the career you want.

When it comes to finding a good golf job, realize it is essential for you to get the education you need.  Start with a quality school to advance your degree even farther.
